A round up of all the adventures you can take part in if you're staying with us this Easter:

Beck Isle Museum – Various Dates

Thursday 29 March, 10.30am – 11.30am

Springtime Storytime

Storytime for the Under 5’s with a focus on springtime stories.

Saturday 31 March – Sun 8 April, 10am-4pm

Beck Isle Museum Easter Trail

Find the clues around the museum for a chance to win a chocolate treat and get creative with some springtime craft activities in the Activity Room. The crafts run until 15th April.

Wednesday 11 April, 11am-3pm

Traditional Craft Day

See the museum brought to life as our skilled volunteers demonstrate traditional rural crafts, from paper quilling and rag rugging to crocheting and butter making.

Wednesday 4 April, 11am-3pm

Museum Explorers: Victorian Scrapbooking

The Victorians loved making scrapbooks. Come along to this special workshop and create your own scrapbook using all sorts of materials

Burton Agnes Hall – 30th March – 8th April

Easter Egg Trail

30th March – 8th April, 11am-5pm

There are puzzles to solve and games to play, while in the craft tent children can get creative.

Easter Egg Hunt

Sunday 1st April & Monday 2nd April, 11am to 5pm

On Easter Sunday and Monday, children are invited to join the Easter Bunny and search for some of the many thousands of chocolate Easter eggs that are hidden in the Hall’s woodland.

Castle Howard – 24th March – 15th April

The Easter holidays will be stacked full to the brim with fun activities to entertain the whole family.

WonderPhil will be running family magic workshops and performing a daily magic show. Booking is essential.

Enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt with a twist around the gardens. Several birds have lost their eggs and intrepid egg-splorers are needed to help the birds. A new bird spotters guide will be available to help nature explorers together with a binocular boat tour of the Great Lake to spot some of the water birds Castle Howard is famous for.

With Easter crafts and games, enjoying homemade treats from our cafes and taking a spring stroll on a daffodil walk – there is something to keep you busy for a full day.

Nunnington Hall – 30th March – 15th April

Bunny has been up to his old tricks again trying to gobble up all the vegetables in the organic garden. Our scarecrows are trying their best to protect them, but can you help by completing the garden hunt? Cadbury’s may have a surprise for you.

Piglets Adventure Farm – 24th March – 15th April

With egg-citing activities, cute baby animals and lots of family fun, there’s plenty to see and do this Easter at Piglets Adventure Farm.

Egg-citing activities include Easter Egg hunt, lambing live, lamb bottle feeding, baby chicks, Chicken Flappin’ and the Magic Hatter returns with his comedy magic and Springtime silliness! Regular activities including tractor trailer rides, bouncing pillows, animal barn and piglet maternity ward, giant sand pit and loads loads more.

Plus, take a tractor & trailer ride up to the Bale Play Baaarn with giant drop slides, straw bale mountain, junior tractor drivers’ area, rope swing and dig’n’play. If you’re feeling peckish, there’s even a heated seating area with delicious food from the Piggy Pizza Parlour or try a tasty treat in Truffle’s Trough.

You can also enjoy a refreshing drink and delicious snacks in the Piglets Coffee House with small soft play area.

It’s eggs-hilarating fun for all the family!

Scampston Hall – Various Dates

Scampston’s fabulous Fairy Godmothers will be returning with some magical stories which will have your little ones enthralled! Children will be able to listen to stories before searching for Scampston’s resident fairies in the woodland.

Fairy Stories in the Garden will take place on:

Friday 30th March 2pm,

Monday 2nd April 11am,

Thursday 5th April 2pm,

Tuesday 10th April 11am,

Friday 13th April 2pm.

Admission will be free for all children in costumes on these days

The Deep, Hull – 24th March – 15th April

Spring has sprung at Hull’s award-winning aquarium The Deep, and it’s time to learn about new life in the oceans. Hear about the different eggs laid by some of their most popular residents, including sharks, turtles and penguins. Plus take part in fun-filled family crafts and an activity trail.

Yorkshire Arboretum – 26th March – 15th April

Follow the fun Easter trail and each clue will lead you closer to your sticker or ask for a collecting strip and see what you can find on your own adventure
